Being a huge fan of the velvet underground and all offsprings but of lou reed before all, i was surprised and overwhelmed when hearing this radio session for the first time.
this impression is still the same. this is one of the best of lou of all time. rocking fresh and coming to the point directly, and the versions of sweet jane and rock\'n\'roll are the best i\'ve heard so far. (and i know and love lots of versions). if you like lou reed and you want to know what kind of a record transformer would have been without david bowie as a(n over)producer get this one! recommended! If you know this album you can review it. |
