I am as big a Genesis fan as they come. I swear I tried so hard, over and over to like this album but it is a dud. There are a few dim glimmers of hope such as "Shipwrecked", "Uncertain Weather", "Not About Us" (You could almost hear Phil singing the lyric "...falling gently down down down..."). Not to compare Ray Wilson to Phil Collins, but it is only as a point of reference. They couldn't have picked a singer with less personality. He sounds bored. And the drums, or lack there of in the mix, are awful. They should have used a drum machine for the entire album. It would have had more feel. What were they thinking when they put Small Talk on the album. It makes me cringe. Shall I go on? No,I'll stop there. Where is Hackett, Collins, & Gabriel when you need them?

If you know this album you can review it.
