5/10 Bruce Beatlefan (March 30, 2006)
George Harrison generally doesn\'t do very well with his albums issued in close proximity--all his best work (Material World, George Harrison, Cloud 9) have come with at least two-or-three year\'s preparation. Extra Texture just doesn\'t have much to recommend it. Like all George Harrison albums, it rewards the patient customer who plays it repeatedly to allow the songs to \"grow on you\", but in the case of this album, the songs (except for the superb \"You\" and \"Tired of Midnight Blue\") never grow to anything more than mild pleasantness.
7/10 Jesse (February 10, 2006)
It\'s an album made during the period between Patty and Olivia. The songs reflect George\'s actual feelings, and the instrumentation is perfect for the display.
7/10 BeatleBeatle (April 2, 2005)
George falters a bit here or there (particularly on the abysmal "Ooh Baby (You Know That I Love You"), but the album still has plenty of classics ("You" "This Guitar (Can't Keep From Crying)" and "Tired of Midnight Blue")

If you know this album you can review it.
