8/10 Uncle Meat (September 20, 2005)
I love this record.
9/10 Peter S. (August 14, 2005)
I remember when this album came out and loving Good Times Roll. Great harmonies and guitar based rock and roll sounded great versus some of the crap out there like disco and punk. My favouite cut has always been Just What I Needed (long before the TV commercial.) One of the great 1-2 punches in rock history is You're All I've Got Tonight/Bye Bye Love. Subsequent Cars albums were not nearly as good.
10/10 Dmitry Murashev (January 29, 2003)
No doubt, "The Cars" is the best album of the band, one of the new-wave-est in music history. It has stable radio hits of 78-79's, especialy "Moving in Stereo", great song! But all songs are notable. This album is one of my favorites from all music I've ever heard.
