5/10 Andrew Creamer (November 28, 2006)
Incongruous album between 1973\'s dismal A Passion Play and 1975\'s brilliant Minstrel In The Gallery, this record boasts two of Tull\'s most well-known commercially successful songs: \"Bungle In The Jungle\" and the only song that might convert a non-Tull fan into a Tull fan, \"Skating Away On The Thin Ice Of The New Day.\" Two other decent offerings (\"Queen And Country\" and \"The Third Hoorah\") do little to set this apart from the fractured album-conceptualized rock that Jethro Tull was experimenting with in this era; some records worked well while others failed miserably.
