While being in the Beatles as a lead guitarist George Harrison contributed classic songs "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", "Something", "Here Comes the Sun".
After Beatles 1970 breakup he collaborated with producer Phil Spector to record first solo. "All Things Must Pass" became the first solo recording by any of the Beatles to top the charts following their breakup. Other top charters were 1976 single "This Song", 1979 "Blow Away", 1987 album "Cloud Nine" with single from it "Got My Mind Set on You".
In 1988, Harrison, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, and Roy Orbison formed the Traveling Wilburys, who released two very successful albums.
