7/10 Bruce Beatlefan (July 19, 2005)
The still-unfamiliar song order and varying degrees of the songs'
developments keeps this a fresh and interesting CD to slap on often.
The highlights for me are two "new" tracks: "What's the New Mary Jane" is just incredible and would have graced the White Album much more so than "Revolution 9", and "Mailman Bring Me No More Blues" is somberly beautiful. "While My Guitar...", "Rocky Raccoon", and
"I've Got a Feeling" are popularly cited highlights, and in my opinion
"Obladi Oblada" and "Honey Pie" are much better here than on the White Album. I must admit I cringe at John's scathing sarcasm while
Paul is demo-ing his "Teddy Boy" and "Let it Be" songs.

If you know this album you can review it.
