	As John Lennon so often did in his early covers, he takes on a inoffensively-produced record having the potential for conflict and adds his unique brand of fire (see also "Please Mr. Postman", "You Really Got a Hold on Me"). John delivers the goods here, but for perhaps the only time in the Beatles' career, a subsequent cover version (the group Smith, in 1969) completely aces the Beatle's effort.
