	Just as the car song "409" provided the B-Side for the surfing A-Side "Surfin' Safari", "Shut Down" backs up the top ten single "Surfin' USA", and is a hit in its own right. This time Brian Wilson enlists lyrical help from Roger Christian, disc jockey and car expert, and the racing details in these lyrics are fascinating and very skillfully written.
