Way back in 1965 is the only other time in the Beach Boys' career that a song features Brian Wilson and Mike Love in a vocal duet: "Devoted to You" from the Beach Boys Party album (whenever they sing in the same song, it is alternating lead vocals with one another). "When Girls Get Together" was recorded in 1970 for the Sunflower album, and had been collecting dust when it was brought out to become part of this album.
