It just may be that the Moody Blues have written more songs about friendship than any other group. "Lovely to See You", "Remember Me My Friend", "When You're a Free Man", "The Day We Meet Again", "Gemini Dream", "Meet Me Halfway", and more. More than the "cosmic consciousness" or the drugs or the spiritual messages, the strongest force I hear when I listen to them (especially in recent years) is the genuine fondness they seem to have for one another and for their fans.
