I love this song. The loop create a hypnotizing atmosphere, although it doesn't match exactly on all the transition. There's a little rhythm guitar in the background, plus all kinds of interesting sounds. Bass adds wonderfully to the complete hypnosis and so does Pauls voice. A very surreal and exquisite experience, reminding me of one of the lengthy passages of Yes' Tales of Topographic Oceans, this track goes on for over ten minutes without ever getting tedious, as it puts the listener in a very agreeable hypnotic trance. I can't tell if that is Paul's vocal being electronically altered, or if it's Linda. If it's Linda, it sure is a switch from her only other lead vocal, "Cook of the House" (I have never heard her "Seaside Woman" song). | Bruce Beatlefan | November 8, 2006 |
