	This is a totally different song from "Glow Girl" (I'm sure "Glow Girl" was given its title to be a match for this one, as the song fails to mention the lyrics glow or girl). "Glittering Girl" is a return to form for Pete Townshend, who revealed feelings we haven't seen from him before in the tender songs "Our Love Was" and "Sunrise"; this song is a bruisingly cynical lyric, matched with a bruisingly hard bass from Entwistle, about a girl who learns how to get her way by callously using her looks and personality.
