P.S. I Love You

Average song rating Lovely song, the first of Paul McCartney's boatload of sweet melodies. Curious performance in many regards:
(1) The song begins with the bridge rather than with verse or chorus, and it is sung with a different melody. Did the Beatles ever do this on any other song?
(2) John sings the first three lines, then surrenders the microphone to Paul for the rest of the song (or duets with Paul).
(3) During the verses, John provides accompanying vocal only on every fifth word or so...can you think of any other song (in the whole world) which is accompanied this way?

Lyrics

As I write this letter,
Send my love to you,
Remember that I'll always,
Be in love with you.

Treasure these few words 'till we're together,
Keep all my love forever,
P.S., I love you.
You, you, you.

I'll be coming home again to you, love,
And 'till the day I do, love,
P.S., I love you.
You, you, you.

As I write this letter,
Send my love to you,
Remember that I'll always,
Be in love with you.

Treasure these few words 'till we're together,
Keep all my love forever,
P.S., I love you.
You, you, you.

As I write this letter, (Oh oh oh)
Send my love to you, (You know I want you to)
Remember that I'll always, (Yeah)
Be in love with you.

I'll be coming home again to you, love,
And 'till the day I do, love,
P.S., I love you.
You, you, you.
You, you, you.
I love you.
