Don't Worry Kyoko (Mummy's Only Looking for Her Hand in the Snow)

Average song rating Timidly, and with a red face, I must admit that this particular track is for me a highlight. The song title makes me laugh because if I was Kyoko my inclination would be to become QUITE worried. I'm not clear on the band that is playing (Elephants Memory? Zappa's Mothers? the liner notes are too jumbled and scribbled-out) but man they sure rock whoever they are. The last four minutes when the sound descends into feedback, sounding like a mammoth UFO shutting down is purely awesome. And last but not least is the sheer wonder of Yoko Ono shrieking her guts out for sixteen minutes, and when it's all over she gives a little self-conscious giggle and a comment like, 'OK I'm done'. I know it's not hip to like this stuff if you're a TRUE Beatlefan, but dammit there's something that appeals to me. Bruce Beatlefan January 5, 2007

Lyrics

Snow -

Don't worry, don't worry, don't worry, don't worry,
Don't worry, don't worry, don't worry, don't worry,
Don't worry, don't worry, don't worry, don't worry,
Don't worry, don't worry, don't worry, don't worry,
Don't worry, don't worry, don't worry, don't worry,
Don't worry.

Don't worry.

Don't worry,
Don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't,
Don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, don't, kyoko.

Don't worry.
Don't -

Don't worry, don't worry, don't worry, don't worry,
Don't worry, don't worry, don't worry, don't worry,
Don't worry.

Kyoko, don't worry.

Don't worry, don't worry, don't worry, don't worry,
Don't worry, don't worry, don't worry, don't worry,
Don't worry.

Don't, don't.
